I have test this equipment on my Mitsubishi lancer ex 2.0L. But after I able to connect but I can see the the scanner on error code does this work efficiently

OBD-II trouble codes reading at (left side)Menu-Diagnostics option.

Please note that App supports only parameters and ECU's specified with OBD-II standard, that is Engine and Emission systems (Check Engine Light @ dashboard ).
