Hey there
Hope u r doing well
Actually we working on developing a new safety system which reading seatbelt state ( buckled or not ) from OBD2 for both diver and passenger is required .So I am asking if OBD Car Doctor can read this type of info? and how?

Best regards

Please note that App supports only parameters and ECU's specified with OBD-II standard, that is Engine and Emission systems. Unfortunately other car systems like Belts, SRS, ABS, ESP, etc. do not covered with any standard. Implementation could be very different for various make-model-year. You might need the other specialized solution for exact make-model-year that declare support of all listed systems.

Thanks!

For GM models it might be availavle only with Android inCarDoc version 7.6.1 or higher, that is planned to be released via Beta testing chanel  later this week. Please also note, that you might need a quality adapter, as most of cheap ELM327 clones does not support required connection modes.

Thanks!
