Is it possible to read errors from other systems: ABS, automatic transmission, etc.

In accordance with the OBD-II only Check Engine errors are displayed and reset, i.e. engine and transmission errors.

*To clear errors one should do it with the engine stopped, but the power switched on.

The errors from other systems (i.e. ABS, automatic transmission, SRS (Airbag), etc.) do not described by the OBD-II standard, so it is not supported by the application.

You can mostly through on board diagnostic connector 2 (obd2) extract any information from any modul

Please don't mixup the diagnostic connector and OBD-II standard. Standard give exact requirements for mechanical connector part (socket), electrical part (signal layer), and protocol (logical layer). And all this describes ONLY engine (and bit around) related cases. Nobody reject the fact that OTHER car system could use the same mechanical and electrical parts of protocol for the communication, but that is NOT anyway regulated by the standard... and not supported with our program. Thank you for the attention.

Expected that certified specialist should operate with terms of exact standard or guide reference (not only with terms like "every basic scan tool"), that setup rules and regulate readings of requested parameters. Please point exact reference and or paragraph of OBD-II standard specification that regulates universal protocols of reading ABS.

You might need other separate specialized solution for exact make-model-year that declare support of any of the listed systems via proprietary internal protocol (not OBD-II). And it's expected that mentioned scan tool have embedded support of one specific (for example Ford's) or list of make's protocols (non OBD-II) support. And list of supported makes/protocols exactly stated in tool's documentation.

Our app supports configuration for reading non-standard parameters, but that is for personal or community care to find and setup appropriate protocols for exact make/model/year configuration.

Definitely we could help with writing the configuration files if appropriate commands/protocols are available.

For sure you could reject our expertise and do your own investigation with keywords ABS OBD-II ELM327, If you are right, it's expected to find out a lot of applications, solutions and recipes of reading ABS with ELM327 in a unified way for any make/model/year.

Thank you for being precise in your comments!
