There are no and can't be any difference in apps connection other that your settings or conditions mistakes.

It looks, that you does not follow instructions precisely... at least your flow skips the last one marked in red:

We can't help you unless you follow instructions and send us connection details and issue description as recommended above!

Refunding could be done by the store where you buy the app (Google Play or App Store respectively), please follow their standard procedure.

I have followed your instructions flawlessly, but I am still unable to get this app to work. I downloaded 4 others (Torque, Car Scanner, Old Arny and Olivia Drive) and they all work fine for me. At this point I will just request a refund. How do I do that?

Bluetooth / WiFi OBD-II adapters Red light instead of green?

Bought the Pilot OBD II  reader/scanner.  Did as the directions said to do.  It gives red light, not green.  Connect to Bluetooth BEFORE turning on car engine.  Then after you have pairing for Bluetooth, you can start the car.  After car is started you can open the InCarDoc app on your cell phone.  When the app opens, click on the bar at the bottom to connect to (BT) and it will go through a connection sequence.  It works fine.  You will need to go through and input your "settings".

It works fine, however, the lights are always red, not green. And they will blink while the adaptor is communicating with the app.

Как я уже написал, гадать можно долго, чтобы что-то ответить определенное нужно видеть данные подключения из программы. Дилерский сканер обычно работает по внутренним протоколам производителя Авто, а не по протоколам стандарта OBD-II. Там данных может быть больше. Проблема в том, что эти протоколы закрыты и публичной информации практически нет.

 Спасибо за оперативный ответ.

Сейчас машина в ремонте (периодически поджигается "CHECK") для диагностики этой неисправности и покупал ELM327.

Но ошибки программа тоже не показывает. В описании машины прописано, что система самодиагностики поддерживает протокол OBD ||. Сканер в мастерской показывает и ошибки и динамические параметры.

Программа показывает все параметры, которые ваш автомобиль "отдает" по протоколам стандарта OBD-II. Скорее всего в вашем случае производитель авто поддержал только чтение OBD-II ошибок, а чтение Динамических параметров просто не предусмотрено. 

Чтобы сказать более определенно лучше видеть протокол подключения, вы можете отправить нам эти данные непосредственно из программы Меню-Информация-Свяжитесь с нами. В письме не забудьте повторить описание проблемы.
