Trouble codes Xc60

Looks as row code responses. For Volvo it might interpreted as following P-codes:

  • Pclass="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">15px;">class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">155class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">1-58
  • class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">15px;">Pclass="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">1552-68

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">15px;">You might try to search over internet with combination of P-code + car make, like "Volvo DTC Pclass="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">15px;">class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">155class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">1class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">15px;">", etc.

User feedback 5 Simple Horse Trailer Maintenance Tips
simonhopes5 posted this 03 September 2020 - Last edited 09 September 2020

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">A CNN report in June this year confirmed that ten racehorses died in a tractor-trailer crash on the New Jersey Turnpike. It was an accidental occurrence that left nine dead on the spot, while the tenth horse got euthanized at the scene.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Although such accidents are unforeseen, taking simple routine maintenance practices could be all that is needed to avoid the accidents. Maintenance practices not only reduce the potential of accidents occurring but also ensure the trailer lasts and serves longer.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Next time drivers here hit the road with loaded horse trailers, they all better follow these horse trailer maintenance tips.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Test the Braking System

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Although drivers apply brakes on the vehicle pulling the trailer, they both brake as a single unit. The brake lights should indicate in even at the rear of the container. That way, motors trailing behind can quickly know when the driver slows down and avoid hitting the trailer from behind. Besides, faulty brakes on the pulling vehicle pose risks to the trailer and the horse as well.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Brake testing should be routine before each trip, and periodic inspection as per the manufacturer’s manual.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Check Tire Inflation

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">A puncture is not the worst thing that can happen to the trailer, but it will surely not function with flat wheels. Before departing for any trip, drivers should make sure the tires have the right pressure levels.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Both excess and low pressures pose risks. Check the recommended psi on the tire, and be sure to maintain them at that level.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Check the Floors

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Trailer floors are mostly made of aluminum, and it is prone to corrosion, especially when exposed to urine and horse manure. The base could be of other material, and most of them are not reliable to last a lifetime. Aluminums floors should be periodically inspected for corrosion, while wooden floors need to get examined for possible breakage.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">The support underneath also should be checked and kept in good condition. Cleaning these surfaces is one sure way to make them last longer.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Examine the Doors

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Transporting horses on trailers with poorly locking doors is quite a risk for them. The container should always have appropriately locking doors. However, this is only achievable if the users remain keen on lubricating latches, and replacing faulty locks. The hinges should also be regularly checked, cleaned up, and lubricated with recommended lubricants.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Maintain the Entire Trailer Clean

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Cleaning is one essential maintenance requirement for almost every other tool. Horses are bound to soil the compartments, so cleaning is inevitable. Besides, it would be unfair to expect racehorses to perform after transporting them to a race in a filthy trailer.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Cleaning both the inside and outside keeps the horse comfortable and lets the unit last longer.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Drivers will travel with more confidence and peace of mind when sure their trailers are in good condition. Horses can get delivered to their destinations on time as routine maintenance eliminates the need to stop midway and fix minor issues.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">For those who wish to extend their horse-trailer lives, these tips will surely work out. Besides, it’s quite fulfilling to know they are mindful of other road users’ safety.

User feedback How to Change a Car Alternator
simonhopes5 posted this 03 September 2020 - Last edited 09 September 2020

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Most car owners don't realize how useful the alternator is. It is responsible for supplying power to the battery and operating the car’s electronics. When a car owner starts to notice sclass="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">igns of reduced power, such as dimming the headlights or interior lighting, something could be wrong with the alternator. Having it tested is one of the best ways to prevent costly repairs down the line. The best thing is that most auto repair shops provide free testing to their clients. When the alternator can't produce enough current to keep the battery charged and the vehicle running effectively, it should be replaced immediately.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">However, replacing an alternator can be costly, especially for people who choose to take their vehicles to the local repair shop. Thankfully replacing an alternator is one of the most uncomplicated repairs that car owners can do from home. With just a few tools, car owners can swap to something better like a Buick Regal alternator within a few minutes. It doesn't take long and is an excellent way to save money. The following is a class="searchedTermMatch">guide for changing a car alternator;

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Start by disconnecting the battery.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">There could be several wires on the alternator, and it's good to note that one of them is hot. Failure to disconnect the battery enhances the chances of grounding a live wire, causing a lot of bad things to happen, including giving someone a shock.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Loosen the belt tensioner

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">The tensioner is spring-loaded to keep the belt tight, so one must be cautious when loosening it not to trap or injure their hand.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Loosen the bolts on the alternator

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Cars that don't have an auto-tensioner pulley can be different to deal with. Relieving the tension for them can be done by loosening the two bolts securing the alternator to the engine, and when the bolts loosen the alternator slides in the bracket under the belt.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Remove the belt

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Once the tensioner has been loosened, one can go ahead and remove the belt. When it's off, the car owner should inspect the tensioner to check if the roller spins freely and doesn't have rust. If it is worn out and doesn't turn, the best solution is to replace it.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Remove the wiring harness.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Remove the wiring carefully, and don't forget to label each of them using tape to make it easier to get them back where they belong when installing the new alternator.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Take off the alternator from the engine bay.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Once the belt is pulled off, and the wires have been disconnected, there's nothing else holding the alternator from coming out freely. While taking it out, one should keep track of how they do it to help squeeze the new one. Once the alternator is out, it is good to compare the two. If it is a Buick regal alternator, the mounting holes and connectors should be at the same place.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Reverse the removal steps

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">Finally, to finish off, reverse the steps taken when taking out the old alternator. The essential thing is to observe the belt routing and tensioning.

class="searchedTermMatch">class="searchedTermMatch">ign: justify;">When there's something wrong with the alternator, car owners don't have to go rushing to the nearest auto repair store. Replacing it is something anyone can do from home with the appropriate tools. Following the above steps should be adequate to complete the process.
