Peugeot at 2020
The new SUV Peugeot 2008 has a distinctive feature - assertive design with environmental friendliness. The car in its internal-combustion and electric versions have the European premiere at the 2020 Brussels Motor Show.
The car with a deficiency of technological units and tools will looser in the automotive market. Even low-cost car options are increasingly offering high-tech driving. The new Peugeot i-Cockpit 3D keeps all company’s fundamentals, like a compact steering wheel, a large HD touchscreen and an innovative head-up 3D instrument panel. What is more, this update boast with driver assistance systems here, previously used at a premium or unique equipment.
The Peugeot 208 is the base model of the B-segment. The car possesses the highest safety ratings and disposes of the latest generation of driver assistance systems leading in the segment.
However, the model 208-e has a fully electric drive of 100 kW (136 HP) and a torque of 260 Nm. The high-capacity 50 kWh battery provides a range of up to 340 km according to the new WLTP standard.
The 508 Peugeot Sport Concept Car has a closest brother - the Peugeot 508 HYBRID. Nevertheless, the new model is different in its exterior and efficiency characteristics. The aerodynamics were designed for optimal performance and first-class performance, with a sharper front bumper, a narrower grille with floating blades, subframe flaps, fourth light fins, and a new diffuser in the rear. The concept possesses a 200hp PureTech petrol engine and two electric motors (110hp at the front and 200hp at the rear).
