What should I write if I don't know the year of manufacture of the car that I want to diagnose?

that's optional information just to help you enter model parameters

the only significant are Displacement and Fuel type, that is for Fuel economy calculations

all those have no influence on Diagnostics

Please check FAQ section about key app requirements and features

Thanks!

Our app "OBD Car Doctor" works with

  • any OBD-II compliant cars, at 2015 all Mazda models expected to support OBD-II
  • any WiFi and Bluetooth (excluding some Bluetooth 4.0) adapters/scanners that compatible with ELM327 (99% of available adapters, but you might need to clarify this with you adapter specification or ask seller)

App reads error codes specified with OBD-II, that is Engine and Emission systems. (Please note that "other systems" like service reminder, ABS, TPMS, SRS(airbag) does not specified with OBD-II and not supported in app).

App shows both Error code and description, if error is "unknown" for app and there are no description you free just search in Internet descriptions and other details related to the error.

Thanks!
