Hi I just bought an obd2 adapter from Amazon and I've been trying to install it but when I plug it In the light is red whereas if says if should be green. Also having a lot of difficulty connecting the adapter to the app and I've tried many times

Unfortunately we can't add anything more to our mailed answer:
To get idea about troubles and be able help you we need to receive and review the connection protocols.

Please also check the posts about "bad adapters" as you might have one of those "unnamed heroes".

Thanks!

I had the same issue. Two lights were lit, both red. I had to manually add my car to the list and then it ran fine, I just ignored the wording.

Bought the Pilot OBD II  reader/scanner.  Did as the directions said to do.  It gives red light, not green.  Connect to Bluetooth BEFORE turning on car engine.  Then after you have pairing for Bluetooth, you can start the car.  After car is started you can open the InCarDoc app on your cell phone.  When the app opens, click on the bar at the bottom to connect to (BT) and it will go through a connection sequence.  It works fine.  You will need to go through and input your "settings".

It works fine, however, the lights are always red, not green. And they will blink while the adaptor is communicating with the app.
