Audi RS Q3 and Audi RS Q3 Sportback looks very appetizing, and resemble candy, only available in eight body colors. However, unlike sweet caramels, RS Q3 is a synonym for reliability. The RS Q3 segment appeared six years ago as a concept car in Beijing, and in 2013 the first production models went on sale. The broad front of the car looks very stylish due to the branded black grill with a three-dimensional honeycomb structure. The rear bumper’s design of the five-door CUV fulfills the holistic concept of a sporty and aggressive car body. There are two huge exhaust pipes on both sides. LED headlights and lowered down flared wheel arches — are already standard equipment for this model. The spoiler located on the edge of the roof is another well-known attribute of the RS line.

Audi RS Q3 and Sportback have minor differences in body size. This essence affects lowering the center of gravity. The sports SUV is 45 mm lower than its sister version. Such minor changes affected the visual perception of the body, but hasn’t influence performance and comfort.

Approach to Driver

The interior of the cabin successfully resonates with the exterior, keeping the main emphasis on straight lines and contrast. Audi engineers focused on creating optimal conditions primarily for the driver. The controls-panel of the car is inclined to the driver by ten degrees. The functional scope is standard and refers on the previous models, although it isn’t far behind modern technologies and user’s requirements.

Just with one look inside, you can feel how much stylish and fresh design is. The Alcantara or Nappa leather seats with bright red or blue stitching will attract immediately. Also, there is a classic black version of décor. Emphasis on contrast is maintained in the steering wheel rim, Mat, selector lever.

Drive to Magnificence

Appearance and design are incredible, but performance indicators were and remain to be the leading factor for the choice. The Audi RS Q3 and Sports models are all-wheel drive, and under the hood they are stepped-up with powerful 2.5 TFSI straight-five engine, which releases 400 hp (294kw). The new model becomes the most powerful in its lineup. Torque is 480 Nm (354.0 lb-ft). An important advantage is the compactness and lightness of the motor. Attention was paid to its design, and the result of such careful work is increased capacity, reduced friction coefficient and reduced fuel consumption.
