TLX Type S models are the key to the success of the new Honda Acura sedan
Honda Acura presented a bright, beautiful, stylish, and bright sedan and most importantly the new 2021 Acura TLX. Pre-sales will begin this fall. The debut of the sedan took place after a ten-year break, and therefore the car became a representative of the second generation of the brand. Also, the new TLX Type S will be the first Type S model to feature Acura's vector - controlled torque Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system.
Improved features include the high-performance 2.0-liter turbocharged VTEC engine, the 4th-generation SH-AWD system, the award-winning Acura ELS STUDIO 3D premium sound, and the latest version of the driver-oriented True Touchpad interface.
Unique exterior features of the A-Spec include 19-inch Shark Grey wheels, glossy black accents from the front to back darkened headlights and taillights, and a pronounced rear spoiler on the back cover.
TLX Type S relies on elements of the A-Spec style. Aerodynamic elements include a rear spoiler, aggressive front splitter, and rear diffuser, as well as large rectangular exhaust ports.
The new TLX will offer two powerful turbocharged and high-torque engines.
Standard: 2 liters DOHC turbocharged engine with direct injection. Also with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 272 horsepower, and 280 lb-ft. The second option is +66 HP more, +98 lb-ft at 1500 rpm.
The 2021 TLX also includes a full Suite of Acura technologies designed to enhance comfort, connectivity, and audio entertainment, starting with a new implementation of the innovative and driver-oriented True Touchpad Interface.
