AMG Newcomers
Newcomers Mercedes-AMG E 53 Coupe and Mercedes-AMG E 53 Convertible are ready to impress you with their extraordinary dynamics and style.
Models loudly declare that they are now part of the AMG family
The exterior is the first item in the list of changes. Due to the double powerdomes and the shape of oblong headlights, the effect of a wide muzzle of the car was achieved. The main ingredient in the front design was the a-shaped air intake grille.
However, if you go around the car from behind, you won't find any special differences. Although, manufacturers have added round trim elements for the double exhaust pipe.
It's time to look at the newcomers from the side. The design of the side arches is striking. Their design improves the dynamics of the car. On sale will be 19 (standard) and 20 (optional) inch alloy wheels with 5 twin spokes.
Performance and maneuverability are the top components for cars of any brand. Mercedes AMG is no exception. The improved 3.0-liter AMG turbo engine with a built-in 3.0-liter auxiliary compressor develops 429 HP and a maximum torque of 384 lb-ft.
The interior welcomes residents with distinctive appointments, luxury materials and the latest generation MBUX infotainment system. Standard seats with MB-Tex microfiber DINAMICA upholstery in AMG design, contrasting red stitching and AMG badges are typical of the AMG 53 series and combine a sporty design with strong side support and comfort for long-distance travel. Other interior options include red seat belts and carbon fiber trim elements. The new available interior option is the nappa leather interior in black / grey-titanium pearls with contrasting red stitching.
In addition, customers get a wide-screen display and a choice of three display styles for devices and data.
New representatives of the AMG family offer a new steering wheel-AMG Performance
The instrument cluster is controlled via the left touch surface on the upper spokes of the steering wheel, and the multimedia display is controlled via the right touch surface.
The models offer a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT transmission, which can be manually controlled using galvanized switches located to the left and right behind the steering wheel rim.
Back to performance. The 3.0-liter inline 6-turbine engine is combined with the 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT transmission, which features extremely short shift times, fast response to shift commands, dual-off function, and multiple downshifts.
The driver will get increased maneuverability, neutral pass ability and increased traction thanks to the air suspension AMG RIDE CONTROL +, developed in Affalterbach.
