Prospects for the development of electric vehicles

The development trend of electric vehicles continues to grow. It is driven by the desire to reduce emissions from the combustion of fuel into the atmosphere. European Union legislation restricts the use of fuel cars. As a result, manufacturers do not want to lose market share to offer electric cars and hybrids.

Since many motorists are interested in having a cost-effective and reliable car. What are the benefits for consumers? First, charging an electric car costs less than fuelling it, especially with the current rise in fuel prices. Secondly, these cars are the most optimal for moving around the city. On average, one full charge is enough for 400 km. Third, the efficiency of an electric car is higher than a normal car. Such a car feels more comfortable in a dense traffic environment.  The controversial point is the issue of maintenance. Years 3-4 ago, maintenance of the electric car was more expensive. Studies show that the situation is improving, and last year’s data showed that per 1,000 cars the number of breakdowns fell by 38%.

Electric cars stand for the environmental friendliness of the surrounding world

The headline speaks for itself. This is one of the main reasons why many countries speak of the need to electrify the local fleet. Electric cars are a great solution to protect the world from harmful emissions.

Singapore has already had case law proving that electric cars are not as environmentally friendly as their manufacturers claim. Then I got the Tesla Model S and its owner, who was smeared for $10 thousand. Although the electric car itself does not pollute the atmosphere, the LTA has calculated the amount of carbon dioxide produced by generating the energy needed to charge its battery.

At the same time, Norway shows that it is possible to achieve the desired. The country tries to buy mainly electric vehicles. In addition, 99% of the energy is generated from hydropower plants that do not emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere during production.

There is an urgent question of how to make electric-auto charging environmentally friendly now? For example, you can use solar panels. Consequently, the environmental performance of electric transport will improve as electricity generating stations move towards solar reconciliation in a massive scale.

Maximum comfort and complete reliability while driving

It is about comfort and reliability, say motorists who moved behind the wheel of an electric car. Due to manufacturer’s technical solutions, the car starts gently, reduced or completely absent vibration from the engine/motion.

An additional advantage is that electric cars are equipped with the latest technology. Automotive companies implement a variety of systems to assist the driver with the possibility of unmanned control. Equipped with cameras reduces the risks of accidents during parking, manoeuvres, etc. In addition, modern cars are highly integrated with mobile devices and services.

Car charging is a special advantage

The development of technology has also played a role. The fast and hardy charging of an electric car is one of the main advantages. Thanks to optimized lithium-ion batteries, the use of new materials, and improved battery design. These solutions allow you to quickly and reliably charge your car, saving power reserve. For example, the Nissan Leaf E + can travel up to 382 km without additional charging, and the Mercedes-Benz EQC — up to 471 km. Tesla Roadster cars of the next generation will be able to cover a distance of more than 1000 km without recharging, and this opens up fundamentally new prospects.

Of course, the future belongs to electric cars, because they open up new opportunities.
