The Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) is an automobile platform that has been used in Toyota and Lexus cars since 2015. The e-TNGA is the same platform, but expectedly adapted for electric vehicles.

Consequently, the TNGA is used for the new Yaris model. What is more, the platform is implemented in a compact car firstly in the history of the brand. The Dynamic Force Engine is basing on the TNGA, and for the real moment, it has the world's highest level of fuel efficiency for a hybrid vehicle.

Superior aspects of this modular unibody automobile platform are expressed in handled stability, lower weight and center of gravity. In comparison with the previous model, the new one has higher torsional rigidity by 30%.

The electric 4WD is also used for the first time on a compact car. Front-wheel-drive is standard for all models.

Display Audio (DA) and Head-Up Display are launched to all models and serve the driver with driver eye movement function. It means that the systems control the direction of drive and allows you to concentrate on the road and reduces fatigue.
