Honda includes new front centre airbag technology as standard in the all-new Jazz e:HEV. Updates to the safety system, and especially to the airbags, provide increased protection for passengers and drivers in the event of a car accident. Honda's commitment to exceptional passenger safety ensures that the Jazz remains one of the safest cars in its class. The all-new Jazz is the first of the brand's models in Europe and the first model in its class on the market equipped as standard with the new front airbag technology. To ensure accurate placement of the air bag, three mounts are used in the air bag to provide maximum protection during deployment, which guide the air bag around the driver in a curve. Additional protection is provided by seat belts. Installed pre-tensioners reduce the lateral movement of passengers in a collision. The all-new Jazz incorporates Honda's patented Advanced Compatibility Engineering ™ (ACE™) body design technology, which forms the basis for superior passive safety performance, improving passenger protection from collisions. The passive safety features on the new Jazz are complemented by a Suite of active safety technologies and Honda SENSING driver assistance.
