Cars of the future-what can we expect?

There is no doubt that in the nearest future the automobile market will be stuffed with high technology, smart, self-driving vehicles. Even for today, you can see the autonomous cars. Not all issues have been resolved and the regulation of the movement of such cars is not always adapted, yet. Notwithstanding, automotive manufacturers are continuing to refine the procedures of robot vehicles making, to implement modern technologies and to develop the more futuristic mode of transport.

Therefore, what can be offered to us, except the self-driving cars? At the beginning of the 2019 year, Hyundai gave a demonstration of “the walking car”, or rather its small model. Hyundai Elevate looks very close to the cars in science fiction films of the 90-s. The key element of the vehicle is its robotized wheels, which can lift the car cabin on 1.5 meters (5 feet) high, at the same distance, the car can overcome the road gap.

The concept idea of such car lies in that the vehicle developed for rough terrain and for the use of the car during rescue operations in case of disasters of different nature. For instance, for evacuation of victims of mountain blockages, collapses and floods.

The second concept which was represented as well at the beginning of the year took its place in the CES exhibition by the Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. The technology has been named “Invisible-to-Visible" - and it augments reality. This hardware is designed for robotic cars and its function is to project different landscapes or images, as well as a map of traffic jams or navigation to the destination on the windshield. Moreover, in the long view, the technology will be able to analyze the general condition of the passengers and of the driver and in case of the health risk it can cause help, or to stop and offer a driver to take a break.

Do you like the idea, that your car will come to you by itself? This is especially true for large cities, where the number of Parking spaces is limited. With your mobile phone, you can call your car. This feature is already available on Tesla cars, but it works only at short distances. In the future, it will be possible to call your electric car, even from neighboring cities. But while this is only an idea. In addition, the movement of the car without a driver - is prohibited in many countries.

The idea of a flying taxi appeared at the beginning of 2018. Firstly it was introduced by Uber. According to their idea, such a vehicle will resemble a hybrid of an airplane and a helicopter, and also it will be controlled by a professional pilot. The main competitor for Uber can be Rolls-Royce company which has developed the concept of a flying taxi EVTOL (Electric Vertical Take Off and Landing). Their prototype of the flying taxi can cover a distance of 800 km (497 miles) at speeds up to 400 km/h.

However, the German concern Volocopter with funding from the Dubai self-flying air taxi in the near future.

A different approach was applied by Porsche the company-manufacturer of sports cars. Just since the spring of 2018, the company's engineers are developing the concept of a flying car. Earlier, Volkswagen (Porsche is part of this concern) and Airbus have already presented a flying car Pop.Up. This car is fully electrically equipped and environmentally friendly.

AeroMobil 5.0 VTOL from Slovakia may become the main competitor for the PopUp car. This AeroMobil startup idea was developed in the spring of last year. The model of their transport has the form of a full-fledged futuristic and sports car with wings (which are automatically located along the body of the car when it is ground movement). AeroMobil 4.0 STOL more simplified model will be released in 2020 in a limited edition. Model car AeroMobil will be equipped with airbags and a parachute. If the startup will be successful, AeroMobil 4.0 claims to be the first ever flying car with a complete set.

To conclude everything above, in a year there will be a lot of technological innovations on the market, and no less of them will be presented this year.
