Audi, Tesla and Hyundai — Safest EV Leader
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) define the safest cars, and Tesla Model 3 finally made it in the Top 3.
On September 19, 2019, the IIHS published info about the safest cars’ rating. The results of experiments and crush tests among all-electric plug-in vehicle define three leaders.
1. Audi-e Tron
2. Tesla Model 3
3. Hyundai Nexo
Tesla Model 3 got high points from experts in all categories firstly in its history. The reason why Tesla wasn’t qualified as the winner as a result of the crash test. According to the test, head-on collision lead to the moderate impact of injury to the driver’s left shin.
Audi-e Tron is the first electric SUV to win top safety award. TOP SAFETY PICK+ award will build confidence about EVs and Brand itself.
Hyundai Nexo is a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, which got key ‘acceptable” at Headlights (varies by trim/ option) category, crash avoidance & mitigation group.
