For the correct work of multiple InCarDoc functions, it's required to get the listed below system permissions.
Please note, that all collected data is used exclusively for the stated functions and does not shared or used in any other activities.  

Location

Permission is required for the following app functionality

• Connection settings: get list of available Bluetooth and WiFi connection points (Google treat as "location") for searching and setting connection with OBD adapter directly from app (w/o pairing)
• Dynamic parameters: GPS Speed, GPS Altitude
• Logbook: auto-fill of the location for fueling, service and other records in logbook
• Search: search fueling station, parking, etc, near current location
• Recording: record the trip trace
• Statistics: raw app usage locations (state/city)

Photos/Media/Files

Bit confusing name from Google, that refers to any read/write app activity with shared memory (accessible to all apps). Permission is required for the following app functionality

• Logbook: all automatic and manually created records and notes
• Debugging: troubleshooting data

It's preferred to store above listed data in a shared memory, as it allows use standard e-mail, share or sync apps for data posting to cloud or your mail box.

Please note: As additional level of your data protection, app allows turn off any statistics collection or sharing (Settings-Logging-Send anonymous statistics), so all data just does not leave your personal phone. Location and other data just used internally by app at run-time or locked at you personal phone.

As the next step we plan to rework app, so it could keep basic functionality without the listed above permissions, please just keep patience.
