Alloy Automobile Wheels

At first glance, it may seem that such nuance as the wheels is not of great importance, but in fact, the wheels on which the tire is fixed are designed not only to improve the appearance of the car, but also, to improve its driving abilities. A tire with a rim drive is called a car wheel. There are 4 types of wheel rims: swaged, alloy, forged, composite.
Alloy wheels are manufactured from alloy of aluminum and magnesium, their weight is 20% lower than the weight of car rims made from steel. Also, their soft alloy makes it possible to form an extraordinary design. And in the case of the deformation of such alloy wheels, it is much easier to align them.
Alloy wheels are in great demand due to their aesthetic appearance and a wide range of models. These wheel rims look especially advantageous for sports and luxury cars.  Lighter wheels can improve handling by reducing unsprung mass, allowing the suspension to follow the terrain more closely and thus improve grip. Reduction in overall vehicle mass can also help to reduce fuel consumption.
High-quality alloy wheels are stable to the usual type of corrosion, but prone to galvanic corrosion. As the result, it can lead to the tightness and tire pressure drops, but it can be prevented by simple preventive measures and simple car care.
The price of alloy wheels is high. In today's market, a lot of cheaper alloy wheels – are fakes that can play a dangerous joke on the road. Also, the cast disc is suitable for driving on a rough surface. Getting such a wheel into the pit is likely to split the rim. It is almost impossible to restore it. It can be soldered, but the quality and appearance would change significantly, moreover, it will be difficult to find a specialist who can do it qualitatively.
