How does one find or search a custom protocol of a car which is not on the app? Thanks

Custom protocols does not public, so there are no any easy way to find it. You might need to search over car technical forums and compile information related to your car model bit by bit... or get paid membership with specialized car-tech association and/or direct contract with car manufacturer.
