Ford Mustang is a very specific and iconic car. Five years ago, the Mustang celebrated its 50th Anniversary. The Ford company decided to update the line-up of a pony car with the fully-electrified vehicle, for the current moment.

The automotive experts and drivers waited for the premiere, discussed and put forward a variety of theories. However, suddenly a couple of days before the official release (18.11.19), the information and technical characteristics with images of the car appeared on the Internet.

The article was unintentionally published on the official website of the company and after that - hidden. Therefore, the question that remains unanswered is: “Was it caused by a human factor as a misleading or as a marketing ploy?” It is interesting to note the fact of coincidence of the world film premiere of the sports drama “Ford v Ferrari”, where the cult car Ford GT40 is mentioned, which serves as additional advertising of the company.

Mustang cars found popularity among motorists around the world, and have repeatedly become leaders in sales in the United States. Besides, the presence of the Mustangs in several movies of the 60-90s brought additional fame as a fast, productive, stylish and relatively inexpensive vehicle to them. Although, this Pony S-segment car didn’t always meet expectations but remained loved by the public.
