All BMW Premieres at LA Auto Show
The Los Angeles Auto Show starts next week. Car’s brands announced their premiers beforehand. Some of them contain only images, and some have full press kits. However, none of the cars loses its relevance and remains expected by the fans of the brands. This article includes an all-new BMW at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Cars for the World Premier
Three vehicles wait the World Premiere at LA auto Show - BMW M8 Gran Coupe, BMW M2 CS, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe of 2020 model year. The M8 will be unveiled in classic 600 hp and more powerful 617 Competition design. Ferocious on a road and elegantly in appearance, the BMW M8 Gran Coupe and its Competition models perfectly complement the range of luxury cars. Their turbocharged 4.4 l/ 4395 cc engine produces 600-625 hp at 6000 rpm and 750 Nm/553 lb-ft at 1800-5800 rev-ups at max. torque. The top speed is 250 kph and the acceleration time to 62 mph is just 3.2 seconds. What is more, this model has an award 2019 the most beautiful car, so that it is going to be noticeable at LA Show.
The less powerful, but no less important is the BMW M2 CS 450hp/331kW. This limited-production model offers an improved aero package and exclusive interior and will appear at the dealer's shops in April 2020. The engine of M2 CS is 3 L or 2979 cc displacement produces 5500 revs at max torque.
The 2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is the last model for the World Premiere at Automotive Show at Los-Angeles. This car stands out from its brethren because of its body design. The lighter and softer design is conveyed through smooth lines. At the same time, the car doesn’t lose its everyday-practicality. Full modern equipment with connection systems and driver assistance ensures a comfortable trip.
The Cars for North American Premier
The BMW X3 xDrive30e PHEV Sports Activity Vehicle is the first-ever plug-in hybrid variant of BMW’s best-selling model in the U.S, it will be presented for North American Premier. The new hybrid SUV at the electric powertrain has a 55 km range, which is perfect for urban use, and produces 185 kW/252 hp output. In comparison with previous models, this one hasn’t got rear frontal airbags, knee passenger and rear airbags, and side chest rear airbags.
The new 4-doors Sedan - BMW 330e Plug-in Hybrid – is the same car in another body execution. As well as the previous model its power output reaches mark at 185 kW/252 hp and 184 lb-ft. The 330e has a 4-liters and 4-cylinders engine with automatic 8-speed transmission. The difference in the type and size of the body, so this model is 64 mm narrower (without mirrors) and 241 mm lower.
The low, wide and sporty BMW 228i xDrive Gran Coupe models with 228 HP and BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupe models with 301 HP will arrive at dealers in March 2020.
The X lineup
The cars that have been presented before will be on the LA showcase too. These include cars from the model line X, namely the X5 M and the X6 M. For each of which the Competition version is presented alongside. Both cars are the pioneer of the 3rd generation in the lineup, and their power output is 600-617 hp.
MINI Models
MINI USA is a British marque owned by BMW Group since 2000. The company announced that the 2-doors MINI John Cooper Works GP is ready for the World Premiere and the new battery-electric MINI Cooper SE will have its North American Premiere at Automobility LA. The cars’ capacity is 301 hp. the SE model guarantees zero CO2 emissions and combined electricity 16.8 – 14.8 kWh/100 km.
