Why does the app take long to gather or establish a connection to some cars with OBD2 standards, how long does one have to wait for connection?

Usual connection (that is testing of base 9 protocols) might take from few to 20 seconds depending on exact protocol and adapter performance. If it was some connection issue, app will start testing protocols again at slow seed (for compatibility with some old car models), finally app might test some protocols variations that might be specific for some makes/models... all around might take a few minutes.
