Trying to connect to a previously connected vehicle ( Nissan Almera) which has a check engine light, but the app is not connecting at all after many attempts.

It might be dozens of reasons... to help you we need to review the settings and connection data from the app. Please use in-app Feedback/Contact us option to prepare and send data as to our support.
