From app side there are no any connection difference between ignition or diesel cars. The only requirements for the car, that it must be OBD-II compliant. Please check the article "What cars are supported".
Thanks!

In a regular case no pass code (or pairing) is required. You might just start OBD Car Doctor, go settings and select adapter from the list of connections. Just note that in-app search of adapter might require turn on Location service (GPS) as Google treats search of Bluetooth points as location-related operation.
Thanks!
How does one determine the passcode for kiwi3 adapter while connecting to different car models?
Why doesn't the app establish a protocol easily when working on diesel cars?
Please note that App supports only reading parameters and ECU's specified with OBD-II standard, that is Engine and Emission systems. Unfortunately any other car systems like lighter, Belts, SRS, ABS, ESP, etc. do not covered with any standard. Implementation could be very different for various make-model-year. You might need the other specialized solution for exact make-model-year that declare support of all listed systems.
Thanks!
Can the software turn these on & off. As mine have stopped working and all fuses ok.
For Android
- check/turn-on debug logging: Settings-Logging-Debug logging
- try to connect and/or run your test actions
- prepare mail with debug log with: Settings-Logging-Send message
- add your comments or questions and send the mail
For iOS
- try to connect and/or run your test actions
- prepare mail with debug log with: Settings-Send log
- add your comments or questions and send the mail
Thanks!

How do I capture log file details if I have trouble connecting to the car, so that the developers can analyse and help me in trouble shooting the connection.
Hey there
Hope u r doing well
Actually we working on developing a new safety system which reading seatbelt state ( buckled or not ) from OBD2 for both diver and passenger is required .So I am asking if OBD Car Doctor can read this type of info? and how?
Best regards
