Is there any way to import custom PID's into the inCarDoc app?  There is a great list of PID's for the 2017-2019 Chevy Bolt EV here:

Gets you battery cell voltage, etc.

Hi!

For the Android version of inCarDoc.
Some items from the list already pre-loaded and available with Android version inCarDoc 7.4.2 or later with Chevy Volt profile: Settings-Protocol-Type of the protocol-Chevrolet Volt

Also one could use Volt's profile as a template and add other parameters for the Bolt.
All profile data are available in the folder:
Android/data/com.pnn.obdcardoctor/files/desc_ECU/Chevrolet Volt
or
Android/data/com.pnn.obdcardoctor_full/files/desc_ECU/Chevrolet Volt

for the Free and Pro versions respectively.

Yo could create new folder, let's say Volt at desc_ECU, copy content from the Volt and add other required parameters

We are happy to help with adding/reviewing profile data, if you could test this with Bolt.

For the iOS version.
Unfortunately current iOS inCarDoc version does not support Bolt/Volt profiles yet... as well as can't read external profiles.

Thanks!

I created the attached directory in "Android/data/com.pnn.obdcardoctor_full/files/Chevrolet Bolt EV" but the app wouldn't pick up on it.

It should be a good set of PID's to determine the basic health of the car plus some additional data like battery estimated capacity and percentage. (both things not shown by the car)

The UI in the Android App oddly lacks knowledge of both the Chevrolet Bolt EV  and Chevrolet Volt (maybe the cause?)

Oh, sorry, I've lost part of the pass for Pro version the right one
Android/data/com.pnn.obdcardoctor_full/files/desc_ECU/Chevrolet Bolt
... updated original post as well

But least Volt must be available with Settings anyway
Please check that you are setting  "Type of the protocol" at the right place, means

Settings -> Protocol -> Type of the protocol -> "Chevrolet Volt"

 Volt profile setting video:

I'll test, review and send your profile for the Bolt soon. Thanks!

Here is the link with corrected profile for Bolt

Please share the results.

When experimenting with profiles, it's better turn on Debug logging: Settings-Logging-Debug logging
After tests with car you cold review and/or send us raw communication data for analysis and trouble shooting  with Settings-Logging-Send option.

P.S. It's better do modifications with simple plain text editors, like Notepad, As Excell might do some unexpected data conversions:
add extra comas, convert text special text marks to numeric, etc

In you case most of the required Header data 7E0, 7E1, 7E4, 7E7 was transformed to 7, 70, 70000, 70000000
