Sad to read this as I got all excited about checking codes and having my inovative dashboard for my GMC´56 Project with an LT1 FI OBDII as I even bought a Samsung Tablet to serve as Speedo, Tach, temp, MPG, etc... and music, why not?!
Has not worked or paired. First try and engine began to make some small explosions and at some point, in another attempts, switching to on and before starting the engine I could hear the gas pump working without stop. Fortunetelly that I disconnected it and engine came back to normal. But it was scary.
IS THERE A GOOD AND RELIABLE OPTION THAT I CAN USE ? Would really like to have the "digital" gauges, scanner and other apps from my Tablet with a safe OBDII reader-bluethoot.

hello,
since obd car doctor doesnt seem to be able to help in adding MAP readings, i was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to do this.
this is a turbo car, and all the other apps ive tried, (torque being one of them) are able to read this value.

Please note that app supports reading of all parameters described with OBD-II standard (including the "Intake manifold absolute pressure"), OBD-II PIDs
Unfortunately, If appropriate parameter does not available, means that it does not exposed in your car/model with OBD-II protocol
Other apps could use extensions build and configured to read non-standard protocols and parameters for a specific make/model/year. For example AUDI as well as other makes of VW group could use VAG-COM protocol and/or some specific commands.
Unfortunately our app does not support reading of non-standard protocols "from the box", instead we could propose to drivers community create and share configurations for various custom protocols.

Программа рассчитана на работу с авто, в которых есть поддержка стандарта OBD-II.
Общие рекомендации по проверке, описаны у нас в разделе FAQ
при этом под страной нужно понимать не место расположения штабквартиры, а скорее целевой рынок - страны для которых собиралась конкретная модель, а также то что некоторые производители могли перейти на OBD-II заранее.
Из нашей статистики в Opel 2001 часто еще нет поддержки OBD-II, хотя есть и исключения - возможно из США
Если есть возможность. то проще всего попытаться подключиться и проверить.
