All right! Thank you for such a prompt answer. Actually one of them takes about 10min to warm up and measure, so it definitelly must be the post catalytic sensor as you say. Thank you!
PLEASE help
Yes, once more sorry for the confusing naming.
By fact OBD-II standard suppose up to 8 O2 sensors support (with a few parameters from each sensor). At most case that is 2 sensors (one before and one after catalytic block) with up to 4 banks. But unfortunately different manufactures might treat order and naming of sensors bit different. So sometimes it's hard to "map" exact sensor position.
At your case, as you see only 2 sensors, that is "one before and one after catalytic block" for the single bank.
Unfortunately it looks like all 3 sensors just does not mapped to OBD-II protocol, quite possible that 2 pre-catalytic sensors are merged into one parameter or taken only one... that is rather question for BMW
To read all 3 sensors separately one might need some specialized software that able to read parameters with internal BMW protocol (instead of OBD-II) and possibly have some details.
Thanks!
Short answer - unfortunately not.
App works according to OBD-II standard that does not specify reading of requested information.
Some cars could provide spark related data as "misfire statistics", but unfortunately even this parameter does not have detailed specification with OBD-II and does not supported in app.
Thanks!
Can car doctor display live spark plug firing data for each cylinder?
I´m also a little bit confused with the notation of the oxigen sensors...
I have a 2009 petrol BMW 320i with four cylinders in line. As far as I know, it has 3 oxigen sensors in a "Y"configuration:
I would expect to get 3 lectures from the reader, one from each sensor, something with a notation similar to the following:
But I get only 2 lectures (instead of 3) with the following notation:
The questions are:
PS: Refer to this page for the description of the locations of the oxygen sensors: http://o2sensors.com.au/static/o2-sensor-identification-and-locations
maybe this video can help:
That sounds like app does not Connected to the car!!!
These three features are not responding in my app;1: general information,2: current data and 3: diagnostic. What should I do?
